them while vacationing here. The
study also provided information
about their interest in
Revelstoke Museums and
specifically their interest in
the Forestry Museum.

beautifully restored CPR
locomotive #5468. Built in 1948
for the Revelstoke Division, the
Mikado P-2k 2-8-2 is an awesome
representation of the Big Steam
Era. This is one of the larger
steam engines ever used on CPR

Revelstoke
Community Foundation
The creation of a community
foundation has been a dream come
true. The Foundation was
officially launched in April
2000 and as of December 2007
holds a capital pool of
$1,157,000. This capital pool
will continue to grow with each
new gift and thereby generate a
perpetual source of income for
annual grants to a wide range of
charitable community interests
and needs. The Foundation
receives administrative support
from the Revelstoke Credit Union
and the CFDC of Revelstoke.
