Regional Business Retention Survey
Western Economic Diversification Canada is sponsoring a regional economic development initiative to promote new opportunities in rural British Columbia.

Our region (Revelstoke east to Alberta border and south to US border including the Trail to Grand Forks area) is conducting a survey that will:

  • identify businesses in the region that can create jobs through expansion. The main premise of this survey will be to grow businesses from within the region and support businesses conducting business with each other.

  • identify employment trends, types of jobs available, education requirements, skills development and training gaps or opportunities.

  • generate regional cooperation and regional economic development planning and assist the business community in identifying priorities in a manner which builds regional capacity.

Revelstoke will be participating in this regional initiative and has chosen to randomly survey approximately 20% of the business community.

To those businesses who have been selected, we respectfully request your assistance in completing the survey form that has been mailed to you. A representative of our organization will be contacting you within the next few weeks to fill out the survey.

Should you have any questions regarding the survey or this regional economic development initiative, please call 837-5345.

We thank the business community for their support of community economic development initiatives on a local as well as a regional basis.
